One hundred and forty-two newly recruited Police Constables have completed their two weeks intelligence Training organized by the Kwara State Police Command.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq commended the Nigeria Police and other security agencies for their dedication, patriotism, and commitment to public safety.
Governor AbdulRazaq represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Security, Alhaji Muyideen Aliyu, charged the officers to uphold integrity, courage, and service as guiding principles in their duties.
He assured continued government support to enhance their capacity in combating crimes and ensuring peace across the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq urged the new officers to regard their duty as a covenant with the people, adding that Nigeria’s stability depends on their vigilance and professionalism.

The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr Adekimi Ojo, said the training was aimed at improving professionalism, discipline, and efficiency among officers.
Mr Adekimi Ojo commended the participants for their resilience and reminded them to be worthy ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force.
He lauded Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for sponsoring the training and for his consistent support to the Command, while also appreciating the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun, for his leadership and commitment to excellence.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including four former Assistant Inspectors-General of Police—Baba Adisa Bolanta, Babatunde Ishola Babaita, Fimihan Adeoye, and Tokunbo Owolabi.
