Entrepreneurs have been urged to embrace technology-driven solutions, personal branding, and proper record keeping to enhance competitiveness and scale their businesses in today’s dynamic economic environment.
The call was made by facilitators at the grand finale of Global Entrepreneurship Week organized by Life Fount Foundation in Ilorin.
Speaking at the event, a business consultant, Mr. Fabian George, highlighted personal branding as a practical strategy for Small and Medium Enterprises to maximise growth opportunities.
Mr George noted that in an age where consumers make decisions based on perception and trust, entrepreneurs must deliberately craft their identities to stand out.

In a presentation on the new tax policy, another guest speaker, Mrs. Adesanya emphasised the importance of meticulous record keeping and accountability, noting that proper financial documentation not only supports business sustainability but also helps entrepreneurs reduce excessive taxation.
In another presentation, Mr Simeon Oludele highlighted the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence, AI in modern enterprises, noting that AI tools can streamline operations, enhance customer experience, and improve productivity when properly integrated into business processes.
Earlier, the convener of the event, Dr Yemisi Adeyeye urged business owners to acquire digital skills, adopt transparent operational practices, and utilise emerging technologies to fully unlock their business potentials.
The event which attracted participants from across the country created avenue for networking, tradefair and cultural display of aso oke, a locally made fabric popular in Kwara Central.
