A World Bank consultant, Kazeem Salam-Alabaja, has pledged to prioritise security in Kwara State through strategic partnerships with both state and federal authorities.
Alabaja made this known on Wednesday in Ilorin while addressing journalists after submitting his letter of intent to contest the 2027 Kwara South Senatorial seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stated that, if elected, he would collaborate with relevant agencies to implement infrastructure-driven solutions aimed at addressing insecurity in vulnerable communities.
The chartered accountant explained that his agenda is anchored on transparency, inclusiveness, and robust infrastructural development across Kwara South.

According to him, the initiative is designed to accelerate development and stimulate economic growth within the senatorial district and beyond.
Alabaja also underscored the importance of youth participation, noting that young people would be actively engaged as a “think-tank” for innovation and progress, with access to financial support to drive their ideas.
He further pledged targeted empowerment programmes for women and persons with disabilities, including the establishment of centres dedicated to entrepreneurship training and improved access to markets.
In his remarks, the Kwara State Chairman of the APC, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, commended Alabaja’s initiative, describing him as a respected figure known for his contributions to community development.
