The Kwara State Police Command says its collaboration with other security agencies ensured the peaceful conduct of the recent local government elections across the state.
According to the spokesperson of the Command, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, a well-coordinated security operation with other sister agencies resulted in the strategic deployment of law enforcement personnel to polling units and key locations, maintaining order throughout the process.
It states that no significant security incidents were reported, and all concerns were addressed promptly, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted voting experience.
The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Victor Olaiya, expressed gratitude to all security personnel deployed for the Local Government election exercise, commending their professionalism and diligence.
The Kwara Police Commissioner also thanked the public for their cooperation and reaffirmed the command’s commitment to continuous safety and security in the state.
