World Teachers’ Day: Gov AbdulRazaq Approves Monday As Holiday For Kwara Teachers
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has approved Monday October 7, 2024 as a public holiday for teachers in the state — a gesture in honour of the World Teachers’ Day.
Governor AbdulRazaq commended the teachers for their contributions to advance human progress through quality teaching and nurturing of minds.
The Governor, in a statement by the Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, directs that the holiday be enjoyed by teachers in the public and private sector as a mark of appreciation for what they do.
He wishes them a blessed holiday.
