The Management of Femdak Hotels regrets to announce a tragic incident that occurred within our premises, which resulted in the loss of one of our valued staff members, who served as the hotel’s supervisor.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased during this very difficult time.
The incident was immediately reported to the Nigeria Police, who swiftly commenced investigation.
We appreciate their prompt action, which led to the arrest of the suspect, now undergoing prosecution.
The suspect, a former staff member of Femdak Hotels, exploited his prior knowledge of the facility to gain unlawful access at a time when our security personnel were unfortunately absent.
This lapse is deeply regretted, and we take full responsibility for addressing the gap.
Preliminary findings indicate that the perpetrator broke into the guest house with the intent to commit robbery.
We acknowledge the concerns this incident may have raised among our guests, neighbours, and the general public, and we wish to reassure everyone that robust measures have been taken to strengthen security across our establishment.
To this effect, we have implemented the following actions:
Full assessment and reactivation of all CCTV systems.
Deployment of additional security personnel to ensure 24-hour vigilance.
Review and tightening of access control procedures for improved monitoring.

We are resolute in maintaining a secure environment and restoring confidence in our operations.
