Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to expanding access to quality road networks across the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq made this known during an inspection visit to the ongoing 1.7-kilometre Ndafa road project in Tsaragi, Edu Local Government Area.
He said his government is determined to ensure that no community is left behind in the provision of basic infrastructure, noting that hundreds of kilometres of rural roads are either ongoing or have been completed across the state.
The Governor explained that the Tsaragi Ndafa road project, which links several farming communities in the area, has reached about 50 percent completion, with work currently focused on hydraulic structures and drainage systems.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed optimism that the contractor would deliver the project within the stipulated time.
He stressed that the administration’s infrastructural development drive is targeted at promoting inclusive growth and improving the living standards of residents, especially in rural communities.
Governor AbdulRazaq also received technical briefings on the project from the site engineer, Engr. Owode Adebayo, during the visit.
