The Ifelodun, Oyun, Offa Constituency Development Forum has endorsed Hon. Ademola Bello as its preferred candidate for the House of Representatives, citing his competence, experience, and clear vision for development.
In a press statement signed by its Coordinator, Mr. Ibrahim Kolawole, the forum said the decision followed extensive consultations and a careful assessment of aspirants seeking to represent the constituency.
Kolawole described the Ifelodun/Oyun/Offa federal constituency as one of the most strategic and economically vibrant in Kwara State, noting its significant contributions to commerce, agriculture, and enterprise through thriving markets and business activities.
He, however, expressed concern that the area has yet to realise its full potential, attributing the situation to years of what the forum termed inadequate representation.
The forum stressed the need for a representative who is accessible, visionary, and capable of attracting meaningful development, particularly in youth empowerment, infrastructure, and economic growth.
According to the statement, Hon. Bello engaged directly with members of the forum, presenting a practical manifesto centred on job creation, women inclusion, education, and responsive leadership.
Highlighting his credentials, the forum noted that Bello brings over two decades of experience in business development, telecommunications, and construction, with a proven track record of revenue growth and successful project delivery.
“He possesses the exposure, intelligence, and capacity required to effectively represent our people,” the statement added.
The forum also appealed to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at all levels to consider Bello’s aspiration and grant him the party’s ticket.
It added that the endorsement was driven by the need for fairness, youth inclusion, and a collective desire to reposition the constituency for sustainable development.
