Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting political appointees in the state.
The reshuffle involves all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants, as well as the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.
A statement by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood AbdulRafiu Agboola, says the exercise is aimed at creating opportunities for more party members and injecting fresh energy into the administration.
Governor AbdulRazaq expressed appreciation to the affected appointees for what he described as their selfless and invaluable service to the state, wishing them success in their future endeavours.
The Governor also directed all affected appointees to hand over government property in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
