Oke Adinni Secondary School in Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State, has emerged the winner of an interschool quiz competition organised by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Abuja.
Following the victory, the school will represent the State at the National competition slated for November second, 2023, in Abuja.
In an address at the event, the State Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Sa’adatu Moddibo Kawu restated Government’s commitment to the delivery of quality education.
Hajia Modibbo-Kawu, who was represented by the Director, Quality Assurance Bureau of the Ministry, Mrs. Omolara Ade-Aboyeji, noted that the State Government had equipped schools across the State with qualified teachers to revamp the education sector.

Earlier, the State Coordinator, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Mrs. Sofiat Sholagberu, said that the objective of the competition was to boost the morale of youths in learning and broaden their knowledge of history, practice and procedure of the Legislature.
The competition which was held at Government Secondary School, Ilorin had Stepping Stone College, Agbabiaka, in the second position while Adeola College, Offa, came third.
