Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has directed the immediate deployment of buses to different parts of the metropolis to ease movement of commuters.

The Governor through the Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, said that the buses are to take people to the most central destinations free of charge.

Governor AbdulRazaq explained that the intervention would be extended to persons attending the SUBEB job placement interviews in the metropolis.

He appealed to transporters and members of the public to exercise patience over the new fuel price hike, noting that different government stakeholders are reviewing the situation with their Interest as a top priority.

He expressed concern over the inconveniences caused, giving the assurance that things would ease up as soon as possible.
