KWASIEC Receives Results For 6 Wards of Kaiama LG
Results of the Chairmanship election for six out of the ten wards of Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State have been received by the Returning Office for the council.
The results indicated that the Local Government Election was keenly contested by two major political parties of APC and PDP across all the wards.
While the results of the four remaining wards are being awaited, the collation and presentation were adjourned till 7 O’clock this morning.

Returning Officer for Kaiama Local Government Area, Comrade Umar Usman Abdullahi noted that the adjournment became necessary as results of the remaining wards would get to the Council Collaboration centre at the early hours of today.
Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM gathers that the Local Government Election was held in Kaiama in a peaceful and orderly manner.
Some of the electorates who spoke with our correspondent expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the exercise.
