President Tinubu submits Tax Reform Bills to Reps
President Bola Tinubu has submitted Tax Reform Bills to the House of Representatives
President Tinubu in a letter to the green Chamber said this aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.
Reading the letter on the floor of the House, the Speaker, House of Representatives, Dr Tajudeen Abbas, said, President Tinubu solicited for expedite consideration of the Bills.
“The proposed Tax Reform Bills present substantial benefits that aligned with my government objectives and Fiscal reform and economic growth by enhancing Tax payer compliance, strengthening our physical institutions and fostering a more effective and fiscal regime ”
President Tinubu emphasized that if the bills are passed into law it would attract more investment in Nigeria.
The Tax Reform Bills are, Nigeria Tax Bill, Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, Nigeria Revenue Establishment Bill and the joint Revenue Board Establishment Bill.
