Kaiama Local Government Chairman To Turnaround Market For Improved Business Activities
The Chairman, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, Mallam Abubakar Abdullah Danladi has reiterated readiness to turnaround Kaiama market to boost business activities.
Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi stated this during the inspection visit to the market in Kaiama.
The Chairman assured that more new shops would be built while the existing dilapidated ones would be rehabilitated as well as upgrade infrastructural facilities at the market.
He noted that the decision would not only improve economic activities of the traders and people of Kaiama but also boost revenue generation for the council.
Mallam Abdullahi Danladi identified Kaiama market as a vital business hub for commerce and trade in the area.
He stressed that the access roads into and within the market would be addressed through interlocking to improve accessibility and make the market more conducive for business activities.
According to the Chairman, when the market is functioning effectively it will create more jobs and employment opportunities for the people.
Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi together with the Vice Chairman, Mallama Abubakar Sidiq Aisha also visited the Kaiama LGA Central Primary School.
