The families of seven men and women recently kidnapped at Osi and Obo Ajegunle have appealed to the Kwara State Government, House of Assembly, traditional rulers, community leaders and groups, to assist them in the release of their family members.

The kidnapped victims who had been held for about fourteen days now, were accosted on their way from Abuja to Offa in Kwara State.

In a statement made available to newsmen, representatives of the victims’ families said that the appeal became necessary because the kidnapped persons were still being held hostage despite having met the demands of their adductors.

They expressed worry that their family members were still being held captive while the two persons kidnapped afterwards, have been released.

The families explained that they had been in agony since the incidence due to worry and sleepless nights.

They appealed to all relevant stakeholders to come to their aid to ensure that the abducted persons are released to their families soonest.
