The Chief Executive Officer of OGANLA Cow and Meat Sellers, Alhaji Isiaka Wahab Awuyan, popularly known as Tawahb Oganla, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Kwara State House of Assembly under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Molete/Ipaye/Oloru State Constituency.

Oganla made the declaration on Thursday at the Moro Local Government PDP Secretariat, Shao Garage along Sobi Road, before party executives, leaders, and supporters, where he also pledged total loyalty to the party and its leadership.

He emphasized that his ambition is not a do-or-die affair but is driven by respect for the wishes of the party leadership and the collective goal of securing victory for the PDP in the 2027 general elections.

The Awuyan-born politician noted that although it is the turn of Ipaye Constituency, which includes Arabadi Ward, members of the PDP and the Saraki political structure remain united as one family, with a shared commitment to the success of their leader, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

He commended the leadership of former Senate President Bukola Saraki, particularly his role in the recently concluded party congress in Abuja, describing him as a role model worthy of emulation by other politicians.

Oganla reaffirmed that zoning arrangements favour Ipaye Constituency and pledged his full support to whoever emerges as the party’s candidate.

He also appreciated the State PDP executives under the leadership of Alhaji Adamu Isa Bawa for their loyalty and dedication to the party’s leadership.

Oganla called on party executives across the 16 local government areas of the state to remain committed and work collectively towards the party’s success by complementing the efforts of its leadership.

He further thanked the Moro Local Government PDP Chairman and other stakeholders for fostering unity and harmonious relations among aspirants and supporters.

Oganla prayed for victory for the PDP in 2027, expressing confidence that the people of Kwara State are eager for the party to reclaim power.
