The National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji AbdulMumini Ayo Abdulmalik, has congratulated retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Baba Adisa Bolanta, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a congratulatory message signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Union, Mallam Suleiman Shuaib Dagbo, Alhaji Abdulmalik described Baba Bolanta as a distinguished security expert and patriotic community leader whose contributions have significantly promoted peace, security and harmonious coexistence in the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

Alhaji Abdulmalik, a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, noted that Baba Bolanta, as Chairman of the Ilorin Emirate Security Advisory Council established by the Union to complement government security efforts, has continued to provide exemplary leadership.

He commended him and members of the council for their commitment to safeguarding lives and property and strengthening community security.

The IEDPU President said Baba Bolanta’s dedication to public service and community development has earned him widespread respect and admiration, describing his life as an inspiration to younger generations.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the celebrant many more years of sound health, wisdom and renewed strength to continue serving humanity and contributing to the progress of the Ilorin Emirate and the nation.
