The Kwara Redemption Movement (KRM) has officially inaugurated its local chapters in Ilorin, Kwara State, with a resounding call for a shift toward a new culture of leadership grounded in fairness, compassion, and fidelity.

Speaking during the inauguration, KRM Coordinator, Mr Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, emphasized the urgent need to depart from what he described as a failing leadership model that has long hindered the development of the state.

According him, abandoning the current style of leadership that has consistently failed to serve the interests of the people, the new movement is committed to ushering in a new era—one that prioritizes the welfare of Kwarans and holds leaders accountable.

He urged newly inaugurated members to register with KRM at their respective ward levels to strengthen the grassroots structure of the movement and ensure widespread participation.

Echoing Oyedepo’s remarks, Alhaji Lukman Mustapha called on citizens to make informed choices in the upcoming elections by voting for credible leaders.

He noted that the KRM’s objectives align with the Kwara State Government’s broader efforts to promote good governance and encourage active civic engagement.

Alhaji Mustapha Said future of Kwara lies in electing leaders who truly care about the people and must all play a part in building a state where fairness and integrity are at the core of governance.

The KRM’s call for a redefined leadership model comes amid growing concerns over the effectiveness of past administrations, with the movement positioning itself as a catalyst for transformative change in Kwara State.
