The National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, has rejoiced with a famous Nollywood star, Alhaji Abdulateef Femi Adebayo, following the commissioning of his film studio, Euphoria 360 Hub, in Lagos.
Mr Adebayo, a lawyer and former Special Adviser on Arts, Culture and Tourism in the immediate past government of Kwara State headed by Alhaji Abdulfatai Ahmed, hails from Pakata Area of Ilorin Emirate.
In a statement issued by the Union’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Suleiman Shuaib Dagbo, Alhaji Abdulmalik, expressed the conviction that the project would continue to distinguish the film star among his colleagues for being a measure of professionalism, vision and foresight.
The President described the film star as a pride of Ilorin Emirate community, saying that Mr Adebayo has brought glory to his ancestral home and the nation at large using the instrumentality of his chosen field.
Alhaji Abdulmalik, who is a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, commended Mr Adebayo for being a role-model in his career as he also encouraged him to continue to be patriotic and sensitive to the demands of his sociocultural background.
While asserting that the new studio complex has earned the lawyer-turned- thespian a befitting place in the nation’s Nollywood industry, Alhaji Abdulmalik also rejoiced with his father and a veteran actor, Alhaji Adebayo Salami, on the development as he wished both the father and son a more accomplished career.
