ACOMIN Appreciates All CBOs Working In Kwara State.

A non governmental organization, Civil Society on Malaria Immunization and Nutrition, ACOMIN has applauded all Community Based Organizations for their participation in community sensitization in Kwara State.

The Kwara State Project Coordinator of ACOMIN, Mr Femi Olatunbosun expressed the organisation’s appreciation during a quarterly meeting of stakeholders held at the State Ministry of Health headquarters in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Mr. Olatunbosun also commended all partners in the project, State Malaria Elimination Programme, TB programme, the Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and Kwara State Ministry of Health for their unflinching support for ACOMIN over the years.

He said all stakeholders needed to work together to improve the standard of healthcare delivery across board.

In a remark, the Programme Manager, Kwara State Malaria Elimination Programme, Alhaja Lateefat Abdullah, represented by Mrs Yemisi Ajala, applauded ACOMIN for their independent monitoring of all malaria projects.

Alhaja Abdullahi however urged all Community Based Organization, CBOs, to put more efforts in encouraging community leaders to embrace programmes from the State Ministry of Health.

While presenting the quarterly report, the Programme Officer, Awareness Initiative for Good Living, Alhaji Ajibola said his organization engaged community leaders and and several associations, to jointly improve facility accessibility in the society.

Also speaking at the meeting, the State Programme Officer for ACOMIN, Mrs Audu Oluwatosin commended all dedicated CBOs for the effective service delivery and urged them not to relent in efforts to discharge their service to humanity.
