He assured that his executive would embark on sensitization and enlightenment of his members on the dangers behind the negligence of the business.

He revealed that the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has empowered and provided an enabling environment, including the largest cold room for the union in the state, pointing out that residents of the State must enjoy and have full confidence in their members.

The Butchers’ leader commended the efforts of the Governor for providing and empowering the Union with future equipment to ensure sound health delivery through meat.

He also confirmed that the Governor has fully supported the Union in every aspect, saying that the newly created Ministry of Livestock was mainly created to benefit the Butchers Union and assist in curbing illegal butchers across the state.
