The Chairman of the Dele Shittu Foundation, Dr. Lanre Shittu, alongside members of his team and volunteers, paid a strategic visit to the Palace of the Olupo of Ajase Ipo for a high-level consultative meeting aimed at strengthening community development initiatives in Kwara South.

The meeting featured the Olupo of Ajase Ipo, HRM Oba Ismail Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, and a distinguished gathering of kings and chiefs from across the Kwara South Senatorial District.

Discussions at the session centred on identifying strategic avenues through which the Foundation could further deepen its service to local communities, particularly through sustainable development and empowerment programmes.

Speaking during the visit, Dr. Shittu expressed deep appreciation to the royal fathers for their continued support and guidance in advancing the Foundation’s humanitarian mission.

In their responses, the traditional rulers commended Dr. Shittu for his selfless commitment to the people of Kwara South.

They particularly applauded the transparency and far-reaching impact of the Foundation’s recently concluded food relief programme, describing the intervention as timely and beneficial to many households.

The monarchs also offered prayers for Dr. Shittu’s continued success and protection, while bestowing their royal blessings on his future humanitarian efforts.

The Dele Shittu Foundation reiterated its commitment to partnering with traditional institutions to unlock opportunities, empower communities and promote shared prosperity across Kwara State.
