Eight houses with defective soakaway in Iponrin, and Sabo-Oke area of Ilorin, have been sealed off by the Kwara State Environmental Taskforce.
This is coming a few days after six houses in Onikun-kewu, Adabata were sealed off for the same offence.

In an interaction with newsmen in Ilorin, the Kwara State Commissioner for Environment, Hajia Nafisat Buge stated that open defecation, defective soakaway and substandard toilets expose residents to preventable diseases.
