Election: Kwara Police Announces Restrictions of Movement
Kwara State Police Command says there will be restriction of vehicular movement tomorrow Saturday to ensure a hitch free conduct of local government elections in the state.
A statement by the State Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya indicates that the restrictions of movement would be observed between 12am to 6pm on Saturday, 21st September 2024.
According to the statement, the measure is put in place to ensure security and smooth conduct of the electoral process.
CP Olaiya said exceptions will be given to persons rendering essential services and accredited electoral officials.
The Commissioner urged residents of the state to comply with this directive, adding that any individual found violating the curfew will face the full wrath of the law.
