Muslims Admonished To Abide By Teachings Of Holy Qur’an

Muslims have been advised to follow the teachings of the Holy Quran by applying them not just in their personal lives but also in contributing positively to their communities and the society at large.

A guest lecturer, Dr. Mahmud Danjuma gave the advice during a lecture at the FOMWAW Annual Zonal Youth Comp held in llorin, Kwara State Capital.

Speaking on the theme: “Quran as Compass”, Dr. Danjuma emphasized on the role of the Quran in shaping moral values, decision making, and leadership.

He likened the Quran to a compass, which provides direction and clarity in a world filled with distractions and uncertainties.

In a remark, the Chief lmam of Kwara State University Malete, Professor Hamza AbdulRaheem called on parents to inculcate moral values on their children to make them useful in the society.

Professor AbdulRaheem explained that the society expect more from them and they should not disappoint their communities.

Earlier, Naibat Amerah of FOMWAN, Hajia Bilkis Oladimeji urged the youth to always have mentor to look upon them in achieving their future goals.

Hajia Oladimeji explained that FOMWAN aimed at inspiring and equipping young girls to become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to the society.
