Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has expressed sadness over the death of the former Governor of the State, Chief Cornelius Adebayo, who died at the age of Eighty-four.
Governor AbdulRazaq described late C.O. Adebayo as an all-time patriot, statesman, and progressive who represented great ideals and fought for good causes throughout his lifetime.
He noted that with carriage and roles at various levels of leadership, the former Governor stood tall and earned the respect and admiration of all.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, condoled with the family and associates of the former Governor.
He prayed Almighty God to repose the departed soul.
