Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the pioneer Secretary to the State Government and Head of Service, Sir Chief Joseph Adeniyi Aderibigbe.

According to his son, Barrister Debo Aderibigbe, the late elder statesman died in Ilorin at early hours of today at the age of 104.

Governor AbdulRazaq described Pa Aderibigbe’s death as the end of a great era marked by patriotism, dedication to public service, and commitment to the growth of the then young Kwara State.

He noted that the former SSG would be remembered for his sterling leadership qualities and exemplary service to the state.

The Governor prayed for the repose of his soul and asked God to comfort his family and the entire Erin-Ile community.
