Gov. AbdulRazaq reiterates Commitment to supporting Security Agencies.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has reiterated his administration’s unwavering commitment to supporting security agencies in their efforts in ensuring protection of lives and property across the state.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq made this known when he visited the Kwara State Headquarters of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.
He commended the leadership of the NSCDC in Kwara, particularly the State Commandant, Dr. Umar Mohammed, for his relentless efforts in reducing crime to the barest minimum.
The Governor lauded the command’s ability to maintain law and order, even in the most remote areas of the state.

According to the Governor, the proactive measures taken by the command have significantly contributed to the peaceful atmosphere in Kwara, making it a safer environment for residents and businesses alike.
“The visible transformation of the headquarters and the impressive upgrade in the facilities reflect the level of professionalism and dedication of the command. This has undoubtedly improved the operational efficiency of the officers and men of the NSCDC,” AbdulRazaq said.
The NSCDC Commandant, Dr Umar Mohammed expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for the visit, emphasizing that it was the first time a sitting Governor visited the NSCDC State Command.
He commended the Governor for his continuous support, particularly for providing resources that strengthened the security infrastructure across the 16 Local Government Areas of Kwara State.
While pledging to sustain the peace currently enjoyed in the state, Dr Umar gave the assurance that the NSCDC’s would continue to maintain law and order.
