Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has paid a condolence visit to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

The Governor, who was received at the Chairman’s residence in Jos, was accompanied by his Ogun State counterpart, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the lawmaker representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Tolani Shagaya.

Speaking during the visit, Governor AbdulRazaq described late Mama Lydia as a virtuous woman who lived a fulfilled and exemplary life of faith, discipline, and service to humanity.

He urged Professor Nentawe and his family to take solace in the enduring legacies their mother left behind, stressing that her contributions to raising a family of value and service will continue to be remembered.

The Governor prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and to strengthen the APC Chairman and his family at this difficult moment.

The visit underscores Governor AbdulRazaq’s longstanding relationship with party leaders across the country, as well as his support for Professor Nentawe in his new role as APC National Chairman.
