Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated Christians in the state and across Nigeria on the Easter celebrations.
The Easter message was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye.
According to the statement, the Governor urges Christian community to reflect on the lessons, significance, and virtues of the Holy Week, including the Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday.
He says the triumph of Jesus Christ in the face of adversity, which the Easter symbolizes, should drive their belief in God and the endless possibilities that come with having unshakeable faith in His power.
Governor Abdulrazaq, however, prays that the Easter period brings endless joy and happiness to every home in the state and beyond.
