Group raises Concern Over Delay In Commissioning Tanke Flyover
The Kwara Concerned Group has expressed dissatisfaction with the failure of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration to open the General Tunde Idiagbon Flyover at Tanke Tipper Garage, Ilorin, nearly three years after its inception.
The group’s spokesperson, Pastor Olusegun Buoyed David stated this during a press briefing in the Tanke area in Ilorin.
Pastor Olusegun David explained that the situation has raised serious concerns about transparency, due process, and the overall quality of work on this critical infrastructure project.

He emphasized that the continued neglect of the General Tunde Idiagbon Flyover is an insult to the people of Kwara, urging the state government to take immediate action.
Pastor David also noted that despite significant financial allocations and assurances from both the previous and current Commissioners for works, the initial 12 months timeline for the project has been extended several times without clear justification.
The Kwara Concerned Group therefore called on the state government to urgently address these issues.
