The General Manager of Radio Nigeria Harmony FM, Idofian, Kwara State, Hajia Binta Abubakar-Mora has been given a Special Recognition Award by the Man O’ War, Ifelodun Area Command.
The event was held at Michael Imoudu Institute of Labour Studies, Ita Alamu, Ilorin.
In an address shortly after receiving the award, Hajia Abubakar-Mora commended Man O’ War for their contributions to youth development and security across communities.
She promised to partner with the association to advance its cause through radio programmes.
Earlier, the Convener of the programme, Babatunde Kolawole Ismaila, said that the award ceremony was necessary to recognize people who have supported the organization over the years and to seek more collaboration from other well meaning individuals.
Assistant Commandant, Man O’ War, Yusuf Abdullahi, who also received an award, stressed the need for government to strengthen the association and encouraged more youths to join.
Other awardees at the ceremony are Engineer Awu John Ibe of NCAM; CSP Morenikejji Komolafe, DPO Ganmo; Mr Akeem Salimon Abimbola, Manager of Rexomserph; and Dr Samson Babalola, NCAM.
