IEDPU Condoles Emir of Ilorin Over Sister’s Death
The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has expressed deep sympathy to the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, over the death of his younger sister, Hajiya Hafsat Sulu-Gambari Maiyaki.
In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Suleiman Shuaib Dagbo, National President of the union, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, described the passing of the princess as a great and irreparable loss to the Ilorin royal family and the people of the Emirate.
Alhaji Ayo Abdulmalik also extended condolences to the Magaji Maiyaki of Ilorin, Engr. Muhammad Jimoh Kareem Maiyaki, and the entire Maiyaki family, praying that Allah grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.
The IEDPU National President prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept her good deeds, and admit her into Aljanatul Firdaus.
