Royal Fathers In Igbomina Land Hold Special Prayer For Late Lukman Balogun Jagun

Royal fathers in Igbomina land have extolled the virtues of the late warrior in Igbomina land, Chief Lukman Balogun, popularly known as Jagun, who died recently in his effort to rescue people from kidnappers in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

In a special prayer organized by Omo Ibile Igbomina at the palace of Olupo of Ajase-Ipo land, people in their large number trooped out to grace the special prayer.

While speaking at the occasion, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Yahyah Alebiosu, who spoke on behalf of other royal fathers in Igbomina land, stressed the need for other local security personnel to rededicate themselves towards serving humanity.

The royal father said though the late warrior was young in age but has made many sacrifices that would outlive him in Igbomina land.

He urged the local security groups not to relent in their efforts at wielding away criminals in their various communities and making the communities save for living.

The traditional rulers in Igbomina land also directed Executives of Omo Ibile Igbomina to present a post-humour award to the late warrior in recognition of his essential security services for the people.

The Olupo of Ajase-Ipo gave an assurance that traditional council in Igbomina land is working tirelessly to ensure that the local security personnel are given more recognition by the state government whereby they would be fully armed to enhance security of lives and property.

He however promised that their welfare would continue to be an utmost priority.

The President of Omo Ibile Igbomina, Elder Gabriel Jimoh appreciated the unwavering support of Igbomina Sons and Daughters in Diaspora, the traditional rulers, religious body and the good works of the local security groups in Kwara South.

He appealed to various security groups to redouble their efforts and eschew bitterness among them, noting that more good work is still expected from them.

There were goodwill messages from various participants and cash donation to the wives and children of the deceased on behalf of the Igbominas in Diaspora.
