Nigerians have been urged to support government in fight against banditary and be hopeful of victory.
A Lagos-based religious leader and Head of Celestial Church of Christ, New Life Parish, Ebute-Meta, Dr. John Babalola, made the remark during the 2025 Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of Good News and Great Joy held at CCC New Life Centre, Throne of Mercy, Oro Parish One, Oke-Rimi, Kwara State.
Dr Babalola who described as inhumane, the activities of bandits terrorizing Nigerians, gave assurance that the country would declare victory over the menace.
He commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Kwara State Governor for improved security interventions in vulnerable areas, while urging citizens to remain vigilant.
Dr Babalola also felicitated the Oloro of Oro Kingdom, Oba Joel Titiloye, Olufayo the second, who was installed as the Royal Life Grand Patron of CCC Oro Parish.
He prayed for continued divine guidance and blessings upon the royal father as well as praised his fatherly role in the development of the community.
The cleric further described the Oloro of Oro, who is also a Most Senior Evangelist of the CCC, as a proud son of the church, while appreciating the Kwara Regional Head, Area Head, shepherds, parishioners and guests for honouring the programme.
He lauded the cooperation of church members in supporting the shepherd to host the harvest, declaring that “God will bless Oro Kingdom, Irepodun, Kwara South, Kwara State and Nigeria, and save the nation from terrorists, bandits, kidnappers and all forms of evil.”
In a remark, the Shepherd-in-Charge of the church and son of Dr. Babalola, Evangelist Ayokunmi Babalola, thanked worshippers for gracing the programme and wished them success in every aspect of their lives.
Evangelist Babalola also commended the Oloro of Oro Kingdom for fostering harmony and peaceful coexistence among religious groups and ethnic communities in his domain.
