No less than Two Million candidates are sitting for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, which commences nationwide, today.

In Kwara state, our correspondent who monitored the exercise reports that the examination began with minor issues such as biometric failure and delay in commencement.

At some centers in Ilorin and Malete, some candidates were unable to get their fingerprints verification done.

Some parents of the affected candidates who spoke with Radio Nigeria Harmony FM appealed to JAMB to consider the plight of the candidates and reschedule the examination for them.

This year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB is being held at Eight Hundred and Eight-seven computer based test centres nationwide and will last for twelve days.
