The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, NACCIMA, will at its sixty-fifth Annual General Meeting and Conference slated for next week, inaugurates Alhaji Jani Ibrahim as its National President.

The event which will hold in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital between June 17th and 19th will be witnessed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his entourage including the Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar; Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwoye and; Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Prince Abdullateef Fagbemi.

Also in attendance will be the incumbent NACCIMA National President, Chief Dele Oye and his cabinet members as well as Presidents and Director-Generals of all Chambers in the country.

At a news conference to herald the event, the Chairman, Local Organizing Steering Committee of Kwara Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, KWACCIMA, Engineer Abu Salami described Alhaji Jani Ibrahim’s election as a milestone in the industry as he becomes the first Kwara State indigene to attain such prestigious position since NACCIMA’s establishment in 1960.

Engineer Salami listed some of the activities lined up for the ceremony to include golf tournament, visitations to the Kwara State Governor, the Emir of Ilorin, companies and the State Innovation Hub; investiture dinner, conference as well as cultural night.

The representative of Alhaji Jani Ibrahim at the event, Folashade Aminat Adefioye of Lubcon, expressed optimism that the incoming National President would turn around economic fortunes in Kwara State as well as boost small and medium scale enterprises.

Also, the Vice President, Cooperatives and Informal Sector, KWACCIMA, Hajia ZR Zubair affirmed that Alhaji Jani Ibrahim would promote women entrepreneurship and come up with programmes that would enable them compete favorably with their male counterparts in the industry.

The AGM/Conference tagged Harmony 2025 will attract captains of industries, entrepreneurs, investors and other relevant stakeholders all over the country.

The incoming National President of NACCIMA, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim is the Chairman and Technical Adviser of LUBCON limited.

Alhaji Jani Ibrahim once served as the President of KWACCIMA; Chairman of CONSCCIMA and is the current first National Deputy President of NACCIMA, for the past two years.
