The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Adekimi Ojo, has formally received 142 newly passed-out police constables at the Command Headquarters in Ilorin, following their successful completion of a six-month intensive training at the Police Training School, Ilorin.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, the training exercise culminated in a colourful Passing-Out Parade held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Welcoming the officers into the Nigeria Police Force, CP Ojo charged them to uphold the core values of integrity, discipline, professionalism, and respect for the rule of law and human rights in the discharge of their duties.
He stressed that discipline remains the bedrock of effective policing and cautioned the constables against any form of misconduct or corrupt practice, urging them instead to demonstrate diligence and adherence to international policing standards.
The Police Commissioner expressed profound appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his visionary leadership anchored on proactive, intelligence-driven policing and strategic community engagement.

CP Adekimi Ojo also commended the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his continuous support to the Command, noting that his administration has remained steadfast in promoting security and law enforcement initiatives.
The statement revealed that Governor AbdulRazaq has approved a two-week comprehensive intelligence operations training for the newly recruited constables.
The programme, to be conducted by AIG Fimihan Adeoye (Rtd.), Chief Executive Officer of Fimihan Adeoye Security Consult, is scheduled to commence on October 26, 2025.
Upon completion of the specialized training, the new constables will be deployed across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen community security efforts.
