LG Poll: Kwara Police Command Pledges Maximum Security.
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Victor Olaiya has assured people of the State of maximum security ahead of tomorrow Saturday Local Government Election.
A statement issued by the DSP TOUN EJIRE-ADEYEMI, explaines that, the command has made thorough security arrangements to guarantee a peaceful, free, and fair process across all polling units in the state.
According to the statement, a strategic meeting was held with Heads of the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Navy, The DSS, NSCDC, FRSC, The Custom and Immigration Service, The NDLEA and the Federal Fire Service to discuss coordinated efforts to maintain law and order before, during, and after the election.
This collaboration underscores the commitment of all security agencies to safeguard the process and ensure that the election is free from violence or intimidation of any form.
CP Victor Olaiya encouraged residents to exercise their civic duty with confidence, knowing that their safety is their top priority.
He noted that the combined forces of the security agencies would be deployed across the state to ensure that lives and property are protected throughout the election period.
Kwara State Police Commissioner enjoined the public to remain calm, law-abiding, and cooperate with security personnel on duty.
He noted that the State Command would continue to work tirelessly with sister agencies to guarantee a secure environment for all.
