The Management of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has announced the reopening of the institution for full academic and administrative activities following the approval of the Kwara State Government.
In a statement issued by the Director of Information, Halimat Garba, on behalf of the Acting Registrar, the Polytechnic said operations will officially resume on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The statement, addressed to all staff and students, directed them to return to campus promptly in compliance with the government’s directive.
Management urged members of the Polytechnic community to strictly adhere to the resumption date to ensure a smooth continuation of academic and administrative activities.
Lectures and other academic engagements are expected to commence immediately upon resumption.
The institution expressed appreciation to staff and students for their patience, cooperation, and understanding during the period of closure.
It also expressed optimism about a productive and successful completion of the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
The statement encourages all stakeholders to return with renewed commitment to academic excellence and effective service delivery.
