Kwara State University (KWASU) has commissioned its Osi Campus, which will offer Fine and Applied Arts programmes with plans to introduce additional courses in the future.

At the commissioning ceremony, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, expressed his profound gratitude to the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his unwavering support for the university.

Professor Jimoh noted that the Osi Campus marked a significant milestone in the university’s quest to provide quality education to the people of Kwara State.

He said the campus, located in Ekiti Local Government, Kwara South, is a significant step in the right direction, and KWASU looks forward to making a positive impact on the community.

The Vice Chancellor added that the commissioning of the campus serves as a testament to the Kwara State Government’s commitment to education, as governor Abdulrazaq has demonstrated the resolve to provide access to quality education.

The Kwara State Governor, while commissioning the campus, described the university’s achievement as a lesson in history, as well as a testament to his administration’s commitment to progress.

Radio Nigeria reports that the event was attended by dignitaries and stakeholders from across the state; including top government officials, academics, and community leaders.
