Kwara United Plays Goalless Draw against Ikorodu City

Kwara United Football Club played a goalless draw against Ikorodu City in their NPFL match day three clash at the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin.

Despite early opportunities from Emmanuel Ogbole and Shola AbdulRaheem, the Harmony Boys were unable to find the back of the net, leaving the game scoreless.

Kwara United controlled much of the game, marking their first NPFL match under floodlights, but couldn’t break through Ikorodu City’s defense.

The Coach of Kwara United, Tunde Sanni has expressed disappointment over his team’s missed chances, vowing an improved performance in their upcoming match against Bayelsa United.

Meanwhile, Ikorodu City’s coach, Bright Osagabe, praised his team’s resilience, especially after a week of rest following the postponement of their last match.

Kwara United will play the next match against Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa next Sunday.
