The Vice-Chancellor, Kwara State University, Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh has commiserated with the Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II on the demise of his mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi.
Professor Shaykh Jimoh, in a condolence message on behalf of the Council, Management, Staff, and Students, said the university community feels her loss deeply, as she was a matriarch and a source of culture, morality, and spirituality.
He however noted that they are comforted knowing that she made a positive impact on people during her life, and that her work and influence will be felt even after her passing.
The Vice Chancellor prays Allah to admit Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi into Jannatul Firdaus and console Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II.
