Kwara State House of Assembly says it has considered Twenty-Five bills in the last two years.

The Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Danladi Salihu stated this while speaking on the Matter of General Public Importance on the Second Anniversary of the assembly.

The motion was moved by a member representing Ilorin Central Constituency, Alhaji Oba Magaji Abdulkadir.

Engineer Danladi-Salihu said the second two years would focus on human-centered programmes.

According to him, the development would reflects the House dedication to serving the people of the state and addressing their needs.

The Speaker mentioned the Twenty-Five bills in the last two years to include Kwara State Freedom of Information Bill 2025, Kwara State Water Users Associations Bill 2025, the Kwara State Education Trust Fund, Amendment, Bill and the Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency, Amendment, Bill among others.

Engineer Yakub Salihu-Danladi said the well-being of Kwarans would continue to be the Assembly priority and applauded Governor Abdulraman Abdulrasaq for his cordial relation with the legislative.

The lawmakers earlier highlighted their achievements in the last two years and promised to continue to engage their people in various activities that would improve their living standards.

The tenth State House of Assembly was inaugurated on June thirteenth twenty-twenty-three and will run its course till June tenth twenty-twenty-seven.
