The Rector, Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Muhammed has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu on her appointment as the Commissioner for Tertiary Education in the state, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of her unwavering commitment to educational development and good governance in the state.
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Polytechnic, Mrs. Halimat Garba, the Rector expressed confidence that her unwavering commitment to educational development, extensive experience and leadership abilities will significantly enhance the landscape of tertiary education in Kwara State.
Abdul commended the State Governor, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq for his strategic reassignments within the cabinet, demonstrating a keen understanding of the importance of optimizing skills to catalyze progress across various sectors.
He noted that the effective reshuffling not only reflects His Excellency’s commitment to good governance but also paves the way for innovative thinking and collaboration among ministries.
Similarly, the Rector also congratulates the former Commissioner, Dr. Mary Ronke Arinde, on her new role as the Commissioner, Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, adding that the entire management of the institution appreciates her dedicated service as the former Commissioner of the Ministry of Tertiary Education.
He added that her remarkable contributions have laid a solid foundation for educational growth, stressing that her expertise will pave the way for innovative strategies and sustainable growth in her new assignment.
As both commissioners embark on their new assignments, the Rector wishes them the very best in their endeavours, as the entire state looks forward to witnessing the positive impact of their leadership on educational and economic frameworks
