Muslims have been admonished to always prepare for death by striving to live a righteous life.

A renowned Islamic scholar, Uztaz Abdulsalam Olayiwola Imam gave this admonition at a special prayer for late Abdulrazaq Olayinka Bello of Harmony FM, Idofian, organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kwara State Council.

Ustaz Olayiwola Imam who led other Islamic clerics during the prayer said the essence of remembering death regularly by Muslims, is to stay focused on the ultimate goal of pleasing Almighty Allah and attaining Paradise.

He stressed that late AbdulRazaq Bello lived a fulfilled life because he practiced the religion of Islam wholeheartedly during his lifetime

In his remarks, Kwara State Chairman, NUJ, Mallam Abdullateef Ahmed, said every human being is vulnerable to death and in Islam, there is nothing like sudden death because every faithful is expected to prepare for death daily.
