
National Youth Council of Nigeria Dissolves Executive Members
National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has announced the dissolution of the Executive Members, Kwara State Chapter of the Council.
In a telephone conversation with Radio Nigeria – Harmony FM, Vice President, North Central Zone of the NYCN, Ambassador Akoshile Mukhtar said that the dissolution became necessary as the dissolved Executive Members had over stayed their tenure of four years in office after their inauguration since 18th of April 2019.
Ambassador Mukhtar noted that in order not to create a leadership vacuum for the state chapter, a list of appointed members to act in a care-taker capacity for a period of six months, had been sent to the state government within the period which a proper election would be held for the NYCN Kwara State Chapter.
The North Central Vice President of the Council appealed to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to accord the new Care- taker Committee the necessary support for them to be able to discharge their duty for the benefit of the teeming youths of the State.
Ambassador Mukhtar called on all Nigerian Youth to continue to support the current Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all the Thirty Six State Governors for them to deliver on their campaign promises to the citizens.
Members of the caretaker Committee includes, Chairman of the committee, Hon Abdulkareem Abdulkareem from Asa Local Government Area, Comrade Adebayo Kayode – Ekiti, Comrade Nurudeen Mohammed – Moro while others will be announced later.
