The people of Olorunsogo – Basin Community have expressed gratitude to the Chairman of Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State, Alhaji Nuhu Majeed Podo, for providing a transformer for the community.
This was contained in statement jointly signed by Chairman of the Community, Alhaji Suleiman Agbaje Olokooba, and the General Secretary, Mr Alabi Yunus Omotosho.
According to the statement, the entire people of the community are delighted with the replacement of the damaged 500KVA transformer with a brand new one of equal capacity.
The people emphasized that the step taken by the Chairman had saved them from eleven months of darkness, and requested that the council expedites action on the process of restoring electricity to the community.
The people of Olorunsogo Basin Community promised to reciprocate the kind gesture of the Chairman at all times and prayed that Allah continue to guide him and his team to successfully lead the council.
