Over Five Hundred indigent people of Adifa community in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State have benefited from Dr.Ola Ahmad medical outreach.

The outreach is a two-days event, which includes medical and surgical screening, consultation, free eye screening, distribution of eye glasses with drugs.

According to the convener, Dr Ola Ahmad, the programme also engaged youths in sports games and sensitization on drug abuse, sexual and reproductive health.

The convener of the programme Dr ola said given back to his community in his own little way makes him fulfilled.

He explained that his motivation was based on the high cost of accessing health care services nowadays, from the part of health personnel, cost of drugs and accessibility of the facilities which makes people die silently.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Dr.Ola Ahmad for his kind gesture which he embarked on for the past five
years.

Mr Abdulkadir Issa, one of the beneficiaries, was excited that the medical outreach also benefited people from their neighbourhoods like Bolanta, Adifa, Ita-Ajia, Monkana, Okelele and others.

On their part, the team of doctors on ground said they have been attending to cases like high blood pressure, diabetes, maleria and people with sight issues.

Reacting, the Daudu Adifa and Ejidongari, Alhaji Salihu Yusuf Saota commended Dr Ola Ahmad for the yearly health care service where people with different illnesses were diagnosed and also received treatment.

The Daudu prayed for the convener of the outreach Dr. Ola Ahmad for seeing his people worthy of the health care and not forgetting the people that made him in life.
