The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has presented the Certificate of Return to its candidate for the 2027 Kwara State governorship election, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The certificate was formally presented by the National Chairman of the PDP, Ambassador Abdulrahman Muhammed, in the presence of party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.
Speaking after receiving the certificate, Engr. Kawu described the occasion as a significant milestone and a demonstration of the confidence reposed in him by the party and the people of Kwara State.
He expressed gratitude to the PDP leadership and members for the trust placed in him, pledging to work tirelessly with all stakeholders to advance the development of the state.
According to him, the certificate symbolizes a renewed commitment to the collective aspiration of building a greater Kwara through unity, inclusiveness and purposeful leadership.
Engr. Kawu also commended the party for conducting a transparent process that produced him as its flag bearer, assuring that his campaign would be driven by service, accountability and the welfare of the people.
The presentation of the Certificate of Return marks another key step in the PDP candidate’s preparations for the 2027 governorship election in Kwara State.
